How the trial works

Install from the Shopify App Store and review the plan on Shopify’s approval screen. That screen shows the subscription terms that apply to your shop. Recurring charges are billed in USD every 30 days, as described in the current App Store listing.

What should I test first?

Use real, valid records or an appropriate test shop for these illustrative checks. Do not mark an unsent purchase order as Ordered just to test a result.

1. Choose one tracked variant at one location, assign a supplier, and set a manual reorder point of 60 and target stock of 100. For the following comparisons, assume Shopify available stock stays at 50 with no other changes.
2. Check the quantities: with no incoming stock, the suggestion is 50 units. With 10 outstanding units on an Ordered StockLark PO, position is 60 and the suggestion is 40. With 20 outstanding units, position is 70, above the reorder point, so no reorder is suggested.
3. Check status and location: Draft POs do not count as incoming. Only outstanding units on Ordered or Partially received StockLark POs count, and each variant and location is calculated separately.
4. Create a supplier draft and inspect the UTF-8 CSV. Confirm the supplier, SKU, location, ordered, received and remaining quantities, status, and expected date match the record.
5. For an actual purchase, review and send the order to the supplier separately before marking it Ordered. When goods arrive, reconcile the StockLark receipt and Shopify stock separately; use the partial-receiving example to check both records.

These checks verify manual rules, not demand forecasts. Follow the reorder-point guide for the setup and worked calculation.

What is outside the product scope?

StockLark does not forecast demand from sales history, migrate Stocky data, place supplier orders, or update Shopify stock. Receiving records are local to StockLark. Evaluate those boundaries before subscribing.
